NOTE:  There are (4) Four Other Adjustable Bed Motorized Frame Models on the market:  Flex-A-Bed, Prodigy, S-Cape and Reverie.  Notwithstanding what is written here, they are still very good frames and are designed to last over 20 years.  BUT, THE MODEL 585 IS FAR SUPERIOR.  Please read on:

Before you buy an Electric Adjustable Bed, Compare the Motors, Frame, Mattress, Foundation, Hand Control, Casters and Optional Massage.  The Model 585 is the World's Best-Built Electric Adjustable Bed. 

The Motorized Frame Supports the complete length and with of the bed WITH HIGH CARBON STEEL that is backed by a Lifetime Warranty.  Each moving joint is RIVETED (not nuts and bolts - like all other adjustable bed frames - with a 1 or 2 year warranty on the frame). The Model 585 Adjustable Bed Frame is built so strong, we are the ONLY manufacturer that has a one-piece king motorized frame on the market!

The (2) TWO MOTORS (not just one motor doing all the work like some manufacturers - that can also make out of warranty servicing TWICE as expensive) that are direct drive motors that are installed directly into the frame.  The motors can be removed and replaced without any tools or wiring (

• Very Quiet.  We pay a premium to make our motors the quietest in the industry.

• Built-in limit switches automatically turn the motors off when the bed is in the all-the-way-up position or down position.  

• Thermal Overload Switch.  Your motors are protected from overheating and will temporarily turn off before they are damaged from overheating.

• Dust Covers.  We cover the screw mechanism for long-term protection against damage and noise that can be caused by dust.

• Higher in the back and the legs.  Electropedic has designed the Model 585 to go the very highest in the back and the legs.  The back elevates to an almost complete sitting position.

• Motors always concealed from view.  The motors are concealed under the middle of the bed and are not in view while bed is operating.

• Standard 110 outlet.  No special wiring is needed.  Just plug it in.  (220 volt systems available for outside United States.)

Again, most other Adjustable Bed Motorized Frames have a one or two year warranty, not a lifetime warranty that our frame and motors have.

There are two types of hand control:  WR Wireless Remote and VS Variable Speed Hand Control. 

The Model 585 Adjustable Bed Motorized Frame looks EXACTLY like a regular bed when it is completely flat.  The Frame sits exactly 9" off the floor, like a regular flat bed frame.  Decorators LOVE the Model 585 because it is just as easy to install to any headboard as if you had a flat, regular bed.

All Headboard and Footboard Brackets are available; and all Bed Heights and Accessories are available to connect our Electropedic Adjustable Bed to an existing bed frame.

The Model 585 sits on heavy duty locking casters that make moving of the bed for cleaning and making quite easy.  There are (4) Casters on Twin and Full Size; and (6) Six Casters on Queen and Kingsize Beds.  Inserted directly into the frame (without nuts or bolts) making for the strongest and lasting connection.  You can also MOVE our beds from the Mattress Stopper Bar, that is attached directly to the Electropedic Frame, making moving of the beds very easy (you cannot do that on most of the other adjustable beds on the market because of very flimsy construction here).

The FOUNDATION of the Model 585 is a full 5" layer of FOAM.  (almost all other Adjustable Beds on the market sit on basically NO padding for a foundation/boxspring, making your COMFORT less comfortable.  A Mattress has to work with the Foundation - the other manufacturers make their mattresses feel like you have the mattress on the floor.
